What to expect when you visit Christ Church…
Worship is an important part of our lives lived out in Christian community. We display our love for Jesus in our worship through music and song, by reading His Word, and by praying in thanksgiving for God’s many blessings and seeking His guidance for our lives. We listen to a pastor from our church talk about how we should live according to Jesus' words in our daily lives. Each week we share stories of "Normal Christian Behavior"- that is, stories of how we've shared Jesus with others. One of the most significant times in our worship is when we celebrate Communion--remembering Jesus' last meal with His friends, remembering His death to save the world, and acknowledging his presence with us here today. Our worship doesn't just stop when we leave. We remember that every day we should be studying the Bible, practicing normal Christian behavior, and thanking God for His amazing gift of love!
